IF SHELLFISH ARE REMOVED DURING A RIVER HEIGHT CLOSURE, THE LICENSED SHELLFISH BUYER SHALL IMMEDIATELY NOTIFY SKOKOMISH FISHERIES AND THE WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH, AS WELL AS, RECALL THE SHELLFISH. HARVESTERS MUST BAG, TAG, AND REMOVE THE SHELLFISH FROM THE HARVEST SITE BY PLACING THE SHELLFISH IN A VEHICLE ON THE UPLANDS OR IN A FLOATING BOAT AT TIME OF SALE TO THE DOH LICENSED BUYER. IF THE BOAT IS OWNED BY A SKOKOMISH TRIBAL MEMBER HOLDING A SHELLSTOCK SHIPPER LICENSE, THE BOAT NEED NOT BE FLOATING. ELDERS (55+) AND DISABLED HARVESTERS MAY BE ASSISTED BY A SKOKOMISH MEMBER. AS PER REGULATION S#24-02, STC 7.0 AND: THE HARVEST MAY BE HALTED BY THE MONITOR AT ANY TIME OR ONCE THE HARVEST LIMIT IS REACHED. HARVESTERS MUST PICK OWN LIMIT - NO ASSISTING OTHER HARVESTERS. HARVEST AMOUNT MUST BE REPORTED TO THE HARVEST MONITOR BEFORE LEAVING THE BEACH. MONITOR MAY STOP THE HARVEST AT ANY TIME. HARVEST ACTIVITY INCLUDES ALL DIGGING, COLLECTING AND BAGGING OF CLAMS. SUBSISTENCE HARVESTING ALLOWED ONLY ONE HOUR BEFORE OR ONE HOUR AFTER COMMERCIAL OPENING. ALL COMMERCIAL HARVEST MUST BE RECORDED ON TREATY INDIAN FISH RECEIVING TICKETS AT THE POINT OF SALE AS SPECIFIED IN THE TRIBAL FISHERIES ORDINANCE. A SHELLFISH BAG TAG MUST BE AFFIXED TO EACH BAG OF COMMERCIALLY HARVESTED SHELLFISH PRIOR TO LEAVING THE BEACH. BAG TAGS MUST EITHER BE ISSUED FROM THE FISHERIES OFFICE AS PER REGULATION S#24-02 OR MEET THE TAGGING REQUIREMENTS FOUND IN THE NATIONAL SHELLFISH SANITATION MODEL ORDINANCE SECTION .05, SHELLSTOCK IDENTIFICATION, AND ALSO CONTAIN THE ORIGINAL HARVESTER'S IDENTIFICATION NUMBER AND THE SKOKOMISH TRIBE CERTIFICATION NUMBER. ADDITIONALLY: HARVEST LIMITED TO CLAMS 1.5 INCHES (38 MM) IN LENGTH OR GREATER. COMMERCIALLY HARVESTED SHELLFISH MUST BE SOLD WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE CLOSE OF THE FISHERY OR PLACED IN REFRIGERATED CONTAINERS. ANY SHELLFISH STORED IN WATER PRIOR TO SALE MUST BE KEPT IN AN APPROVED WET STORAGE SITE. HARVESTERS MUST HAVE THEIR TRIBAL ID ON HAND IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN A TRIBAL DIG OR PICK. SHELLFISH BAG TAGS MAY NOT BE ALTERED IN ANY WAY. TAGS MUST CONTAIN BIDN AND GROWING AREA AND MUST BE LEGILBLE. MINORS MAY ONLY HARVEST AS PER STC 7.02.
