Accounting Department Mission
To build the financial strength of the Skokomish Tribe by following best finance and accounting practices and to provide accurate, reliable and regular financial information to the Skokomish Tribal Council the Tribal management team, program managers and funding sponsors.
Scope of Work
Accounting Department staff is responsible for effectively carrying out all financial and accounting activities of the Tribal government including procurement, accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, cash management, payroll, grants management, budgeting, preparation of financial statements and monthly reporting.

The accounting office hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm — Monday through Friday. The accounting staff is cross-trained in order to ensure that all customers are served in a timely manner.
